HZI in the Science Showcase - Science in the city center

Braunschweig
03.12.25 - 17.12.25
Public
HZI Campus

Making research and science accessible - that is the central idea behind the Science showcase, which has been set up in a vacant store at Waisenhausdamm 8. In the Science showcase, science is explained where it touches everyday life: in the heart of Braunschweig's city center! The city of Braunschweig is making the premises available to research institutions in the region for two years so that they can present their specific research areas and findings and inform the people of Braunschweig about their scientific work.

The Science Showcase thus offers the opportunity to communicate local science at a low threshold and at the same time counteract the vacancy rate in the city center.

From December 3 to 17, 2025, the HZI will present itself in the Science Showcase with exhibitions, exciting research topics and experiments for schoolchildren - in cooperation with the BIOS School Lab.
