You will learn about the processes involved in IT helpdesk and IT workplace at a renowned research institution and learn the basics of daily work at the computer center and IT helpdesk.
Tasks
You will support our department in its day-to-day business, particularly in data maintenance and the organization of the IT help desk. In addition, you will assist us in the preparation and implementation of smaller projects.
- Support with 1st level IT support requests
- Installation and setup of new IT hardware
- Support with creating and managing new users in Active Directory
Prerequisites
We are looking for a student assistant who enjoys the activities described and is enthusiastic about the world of IT.
- Enrolled student at a German university or university of applied sciences with a focus on computer science, business informatics, or other IT-related courses of study
- Interest in the field of IT helpdesk and, ideally, some initial experience with computer installations and Active Directory
- Independent and structured way of working
- Careful work is one of the basic requirements for this responsible task
- Organizational skills and good communication skills
Working hours
up to 50 hours per month
