The Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research, based in Braunschweig, is a member of the Helmholtz Association and conducts cutting-edge research in the field of infectious diseases. Our scientists develop novel methods and strategies to combat infectious diseases more quickly and effectively. Our common goal is to develop novel approaches to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of infectious diseases. Our research focuses on bacterial and viral pathogens, their interaction with the human immune system, and new effective drugs and vaccines.

We are looking for a qualified person to support us in the diverse tasks of the Equal Opportunities Office.
Tasks
- General office organization, appointment and business trip management, and tracking of open business transactions
- Coordination of the equality team and working groups, as well as support in the preparation and follow-up of meetings
- Support in the creation and review of various documents, lists, and statistics
- Organization and preparation of events, campaigns, and projects, as well as support in their implementation
- Maintenance and updating of the Equal Opportunities Office's intranet content
- Compilation of information and research on topics relevant to equal opportunities
- General correspondence in German and English
- Monitoring of the department's budget, as well as ordering processes and invoice processing
Prerequisites
- Successfully completed training in the commercial sector or comparable training with equivalent skills and experience
- Experience in office and event management
- Proficient in MS Office programs and collaboration tools
- Very good communication skills
- Very good written and spoken German and English
- Independent and well-structured way of working
- Ability to work in a team and cooperate with others, as well as social skills
- Loyalty and discretion
