Have you ever wonder how you could contribute to social media impact projects as a scientist? If so, you are invited to attend our event on September 22., 2023 in Braunschweig. We look forward to seeing you there!

This workshop is aimed to showcase role models and strategies to contribute to social impact projects. The invited speakers will cover a broad scope of science-to-society and science-to-policy interfaces in medicine, public health and the food sector. We will ask the speakers to share their experiences on how they approach global challenges through science policy, volunteering, civil service at NGOs and intergovernmental organizations, social impact-oriented consultancy, and university career placement.

This workshop is organized by the DoIts and The Good Scientists (https://thegoodscientists.com/), a global volunteer-based initiative that aims to connect small, local, and impact-driven non-profits with relevant science and technology in an inclusive and helpful way.

Target Audience: Early Career Researchers (MSc students, PhDs and PostDocs), but we also welcome everybody in the larger HZI scientific community.

The event will be hold in the Forum Building HZI Science Campus from 10 am to 4 pm.
We will be happy to see you all there!
