Sites of the Helmholtz Centre

The Sites of the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research are distributed all over Germany. In addition to the main campus in Braunschweig, there are facilities in five other cities: Hamburg, Hanover, Saarbrücken, Würzburg and Greifswald.

Helmholtz Institute for One Health (HIOH)

On 26 April 2022, the founding ceremony for the Helmholtz Institute for One Health (HIOH) took place in Greifswald. In addition to the boards of the founding partners and the President of the Helmholtz Association, Prof Otmar D. Wiestler, the Federal Minister of Education and Research, Bettina Stark-Watzinger, and the State Minister for Science, Culture, Federal and European Affairs, Bettina Martin, were also present at the founding ceremony.
