Cervico-vaginal self-sampling and pathogen determination

Primary aim of the study is to test feasibility and acceptance of a vaginal self-sampling sets within the National Cohort and e.g. depending on age of the (non-)participants. Secondary aim is to determine prevalences of several vaginal microbes and risk factors for colonisation/infection exploratively. The project focuses on human papilloma viruses (HPV, PCR, Charité Berlin). Additionally, microbes like Atopobium vaginae, Chlamydia trachomatis or Gardnerella vaginalis are determined (Multiplex PCR, DKFZ Heidelberg).
