TRANSVAC-DS

Design Study for a European Vaccine Infrastructure

The project aims to further explore and advance the establishment of a Pan-European vaccine infrastructure, based on the achievements of the previous TRANSVAC1/2 projects which since the beginning in 2009 are providing significant support to the development of human and veterinary prophylactic and therapeutic vaccines. The TRANSVAC-DS consortium consists of 25 partners from ten EU Member States and Associated Countries and includes leading organisations from the European vaccine research and development field. The main output of TRANSVAC-DS will be a conceptual design report, including a five-year business plan together with an implementation plan that will describe in detail the maturity of the concept and be the basis for the establishment of a permanent and sustainable vaccine infrastructure.
