RNA & Infection Symposium

The symposium on “RNA & Infection” will be jointly organized by the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research (HZI) in Braunschweig and the Center for Infectious Disease Research (ZINF) at the University of Würzburg. This symposium aims to discuss current and future developments in RNA Biology in the context of infectious disease research, and how this knowledge may be translated into preventive and therapeutic approaches.

The sessions will include more than twenty invited talks from academic researchers and industry. They will cover diverse topics ranging from regulatory RNA in bacteria and viruses, RNA systems biology, Noncoding RNA and RNA-protein interactions in the host response, RNA viruses, nucleic acids sensing by the host, RNA-seq and single-cell analysis, RNA modifications, RNA targeting and therapeutics, to routes of RNA delivery.

The symposium will begin in the late morning of April 28th (Thursday) and end by afternoon on April 29th (Friday).

Participation at the symposium is free of charge.

All participants are kindly expected to confirm their attendance by filling in the registration form on http://www.zinf.uni-wuerzburg.de/symposiumRNA2016
