We are currently looking for new team members. You will join a group of young and enthusiastic people. Our group is part of the Vaccinology and Applied Microbiology Department and embedded in an Infection and Immunity Research Programme at the HZI located in Braunschweig, Germany.

 

The HZI has a profound background in pathogen research and provides an excellent, highly interactive and dynamic research environment. The “Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft” awarded Braunschweig the title of “City of Science” for the year 2007 and the region Braunschweig is considered one of the most research intensive region in Europe.

Post-doctoral fellows: our projects are focused on the regulation of the innate immunity at the intracellular level.

 

PhD students: You will be trained in Cell Biology of macrophages, advance light microscopy and general microbiology and molecular biology. The position is for three years and is funded by the Helmholtz Association.

Diploma students: The candidates should be highly motivated and team oriented. Prior practical experience in cell biology is of enormous advantage.
