SYSGENET - A European systems genetics network for the study of complex genetic human diseases using mouse genetic reference populations
The main objective of SYSGENET (European systems genetics network for the study of complex genetic human diseases using mouse genetic reference populations) is to contribute to the discovery of gene networks that are involved in the development of complex genetic diseases in human.
We are planning a first SYSGENET scientific meeting with the participation of all members from the 16 participating countries. Also, we will have the second MC meeting and the first meeting of all working groups (WG).
The
First SYSGENET Meeting
will take place from
April 7 - 9, 2010, Braunschweig, Germany
We will start on Wednesday, 7th at 12:00 noon and end in the afternoon of Friday, 9th.
The goal of the scientific meeting is to present the ongoing activities in the partner laboratories and to foster future collaborations. In addition, the overall strategy will be presented. The five working groups (WG1: GRP resources, WG2: Phenotyping & Genotyping, WG3: Bioinformatics, WG4: International Outreach, WG5: Training & Mobility) will have individual meetings and identify their goals, strategies and future actions. The results of the individual WG meetings will then be presented in a plenary session, refined and adjusted to the overall strategy.

The deadline for abstract submission is March 15th. All poster and oral presentations MUST submit an abstract.
