AIM

Scientist from universities and research institutes of the North Regions of Germany will meet for the first time to exchange new research results, recent technical developments and to discuss important questions and future tasks in different fields of infection biology. In particular different aspects of bacterial pathogenesis, cellular microbiology, immunity and inflammation and bacterial virulence factors will be addressed starting from basic aspects to translational clinical research.

The meeting is in particular of great interest for junior scientists wishing an up-date of the state-of-the-art knowledge in the field of bacterial pathogenesis. It will give them the chance to discuss their research results with established scientists of the field. Active participation (short talks, poster presentations) of junior scientist is highly encouraged, no participation fee is required.
